The meeting continued consultations between the two ministries
and the talks were focused on the situation in the region,
bilateral ties and cooperation of the two countries in
international bodies, Simonovic told reporters after the meeting,
adding that the delegation invited Croatian prime minister to visit
Poland.
"We appreciate Poland's contribution to the settlement of the
crisis in our region," he said, particularly stressing gratitude
for Poland's taking part in the peace-keeping forces in Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Maller said that the Polish government considered the peace
process to reach the point "when we may return to our regular
bilateral relations which have very long tradition."
"These ties are particularly important today, as we have to
determine common priorities in our foreign policies," he said.
