Silajdzic reiterated that deputies at the recent session of
the Assembly of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina had been
manipulated for a voting on the act on the government, and
describes such a voting as a blow to democracy.
He added that many groundless political accusations had been
made against him, following a choice of a new prime minister
designate.
"Obviously, my chief sin was my decision not to be obey
decisions by a few people who want to have a political monopoly.
Accusations have been made by those persons who proposed me for a
prime minister designate," Silajdzic said in the statement.
He described his act of giving back the mandate of a prime
minister designate as his contribution to the strengthening of
democracy.
