Garrod said this after a spokesman for the EU Administration
of Mostar, Dragan Gasic, refuted a report by the French news agency
AFP, which said that the deadline for the introduction of freedom
of movement was January 20.
The Federal Assembly had adopted legal documents on December
21, 1995, and the Republic Assembly had adopted them on January 8
this year. The date for the introduction of full freedom of
movement would be February 8, Garrod said, adding the EU
Administration was waiting for written confirmation by the two
assemblies, so that the exact date could be published.
