SARAJEVO, Jan 19 (Hina) - Bulgarian President Zhelyu Zhelev who arrived for a one-day visit to Sarajevo Friday said his country was willing to send troops to the NATO-led Bosnian peace Implementation Force (IFOR) scheme in order to
contribute to a lasting peace.

arrived for a one-day visit to Sarajevo Friday said his country was
willing to send troops to the NATO-led Bosnian peace Implementation

After meeting senior Bosnian government officials, including
President Alija Izetbegovic and Federation President Kresimir
Zubak, Zhelev told reporters that Bulgaria supported Bosnia's
territorial integrity and sovereignty and wished to assist in the
recovery and reconstruction of the country.
President Zhelev was accompanied by a group of Bulgarian
businessmen who discussed opportunities of cooperation with their
Bosnian colleagues.
