At the city's airport Croatian President Franjo Tudjman
welcomed Clinton.
Croatian officials who greeted Clinton at the Zagreb airport
included the Parliament Speaker, Vlatko Pavletic, Premier Zlatko
Matesa, the House of Counties Speaker Katica Ivanisevic, the
Croatian President's chief of staff Ivo Sanader, Foreign Minister
Mate Granic, a vice premier Ljerka Mintas-Hodak, Defence Minister
Gojko Susak, Interior Minister Ivan Jarnjak, the Croatian Army
headquarters chief-of-staff General Zvonimir Cervenko, the acting
head of the national security office, Miroslav Tudjman, ambassadors
Miomir Zuzul, Janko Vranitzany-Dobrinovic, Petar Sarcevic,
Tudjman's advisor on home affairs Ivic Pasalic, and the Zagreb
mayor Branko Miksa.
US President was greeted by several hundred of Zagreb citizens
at the airport as well.
