ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) - Croatian Immigration and Return Minister
Marijan Petrovic on Friday addressed a plenary conference of
government delegations of Alps-Adriatic Working Group member-
countries in Trento, Italy, the Croatian government's
Communications Office said in a statement.
Petrovic said the Croatian government, one of the founders of the
Group, was satisfied with the Group's high quality achievements,
the intense and improved inter-regional cooperation within the
Working Association.
The minister commented on the Group's three years of successful
activities, especially of a commission for environment protection
formerly chaired by Croatia.
Petrovic pointed out the significance of successful efforts aimed
at completing a successful reintegration of the Danube river region
of eastern Croatia, the termination of the UNTAES mandate, and
Croatia's aspirations towards full integration into European and
Atlantic systems, the statement concluded.
