COOPERATION
( Editorial: --> 3406 )
SARAJEVO, Nov 24 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Presidency on
Monday accepted Croatia's proposal on the establishment of an
inter-state council for cooperation between the two countries,
whereas it left a decision on the establishment of special
relations between Croatia and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina
to the federal authorities.
After Monday's session, the Croat member of the Bosnian three-man
Presidency, Kresimir Zubak, said that both decisions were reached
by consensus.
"Regarding the establishment of the inter-state council for
cooperation, the proposal of the Republic of Croatia has been
accepted, but there are certain differences in views on the
functioning and organisation of the Council compared to the
Croatian proposal. Bosnia's Foreign Ministry is authorised to
contact the Croatian Foreign Ministry to remove differences and
reach agreement," Zubak said.
He added that the Presidency decided that the Croat-Moslem
Federation's bodies should consider the Croatian proposal for
special relations and forward its stand to both Zagreb and the
Bosnian Presidency's members.
After that the Presidency will express its final stance on the
matter.
