KNIN, Nov 20 (Hina) - Chief of the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mission in Croatia, Tim Guldiman,
visited Knin on Thursday where he held talks with the town's mayor,
Milivoj Tomas.
Pointing out the good cooperation between the town leadership and
the OSCE's Knin-based coordination centre, Guldiman said one of the
most important tasks of the OSCE mission was to secure the two-way
return of refugees and solve rights of ownership.
He stressed it was important that all citizens of Croatia had equal
rights.
Three countries participated in the process of return: Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia, Tomas said, adding that 1208
persons of Serb nationality had returned to Knin in an organised
manner so far, and approximately the same number had returned
without organisation.
