TUDJMAN'S SPECIAL ENVOY VISITS CENTRAL BOSNIA ( Editorial: --> 0301 )

( Editorial: --> 0301 ) TRAVNIK, Nov 12 (Hina) - The Croatian President's special envoy for relations with the Croat-Bosniak Federation and Bosnia- Herzegovina, Franjo Greguric, on Wednesday visited the Central Bosnia Canton in the company of Croatia's Ambassador to BH Darinko Bago. They visited the towns of Busovaca, Vitez and Novi Travnik. Greguric told reporters in Vitez that "economic cooperation and the overall position of Croats, who are still leaving Central Bosnia out of political, economic or security reasons, are the principal reasons for my visit to this Canton." The aim of the Croatian delegation's visit was to estimate what possibilities Croatian companies had of investing in the Central Bosnia Canton, Greguric said, adding investments would help in reviving economy. Asked to comment on the Bosniak reaction to Croatia's proposal for a draft agreement on special relations between Croatia and the Bosnian Federation, Greguric said an official Bosniak statement was as yet unavailable, so he could not comment on it. "Personally, I think that our proposal is very good, and that among else, it demonstrates the interest to protect Croats in the Federation and in Bosnia-Herzegovina", Greguric said, adding "this is also one way to incite them to stay, both in their own and the general Croatian interest." "Croatia will encourage this decision politically, financially and in every other appropriate way. We have made a proposal for discussion, not a final solution. Therefore, we will discuss it, and I believe we will find a solution for stability and lasting peace in this region, which is in mutual interest", the Croatian President's envoy concluded.
