SARAJEVO, Nov 4 (Hina) - A number of Bosnian Moslem-dominated army
generals have been transferred to new duties or retired, Sarajevo
electronic media said on Tuesday.
The chairman of Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-man presidency, Alija
Izetbegovic, has signed a decision on the promotion, transfer and
retirement of a dozen senior officers of the Bosnian army, radio and
television reports said.
Fifth Corps commander Atif Dudakovic will be transferred to the
Federation Army Command. Dudakovic, who refused for a long time to
be transferred from its base in the northwestern Bihac area to
Sarajevo, has been appointed deputy chief of staff of the
Federation Army Joint Command.
Brigadier Mustafa Polutak, commander of the First Corps deployed in
the Sarajevo area, has been promoted to the rank of general and
named assistant chief of staff of the Federation Army Command.
General Kadir Jusic has been appointed to the post of commander of a
Federation Army artillery brigade.
Chief of staff of the Joint Command General Enver Hadzihasanovic
has been transferred to the Federation Defence Ministry while
Fourth Corps commander General Arif Pasalic has been demobilised
and will assume a new duty.
