ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Croatian and Slovene delegations on Tuesday
continued the third round of negotiations on a free trade agreement
between the two countries.
The negotiations were held in the Croatian Ministry of
Economy.
Today, the two delegations agreed on the text of the
agreement. The Croatian and Slovene governments will voice opinions
regarding some regulations in the agreement later this week.
The two delegations also agreed on the dynamics of
liberalizing industry products trade, while negotiations on
liberalizing agricultural products trade will continue on Thursday.
It was assessed that an impending signing of a free trade
agreement between Croatia and Slovenia (chairman of the CEFTA) could
contribute to stepped up similar bilateral agreements with other
CEFTA member-countries, as well as Croatia's inclusion into the
CEFTA.
The Croatian delegation was headed by assistant economy
minister Neven Mimica, while government advisor Metka Jerina headed
the Slovene delegation.
