ZAGREB, Oct 2 (Hina) - Delegations of Croatia and Yugoslavia held a
second round of negotiations on a trade agreement in Zagreb on
Thursday, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The delegations, led by Croatian Assistant Foreign Minister
Spomenka Cek and Yugoslav Assistant Trade Minister Miodrag
Bogdanovic, were received by Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic.
The two sides finalised the negotiations on the trade
agreement, which regulates business operations between companies in
the two countries, and were expected to report to their respective
governments.
Negotiations on payment operations and financial and banking
cooperation are expected to resume in Belgrade later this month. On
that occasion the two countries will begin talks on an agreement on
double taxation avoidance and investment protection and promotion,
the statement concluded.
