CANTONAL IN
$ TERIOR MINISTER
LIVNO, Oct 11 (Hina) - The interior minister of the Herzeg-
Bosna canton in Bosnia's Croat-Moslem Federation, said on
Saturday evening that Moslem policemen of the Una-Sana canton
had apprehended four Croat policemen of the Herzeg-Bosna
cantonal interior ministry at police station in Kulen Vakuf,
north-western Bosnia, on Saturday afternoon.
The minister, Barisa Letica, told a news conference that
he knew neither reasons for the apprehension nor where the
arrested policemen were at the moment.
He added that the International Police (IPTF)
commissioner, Manfred Seitner, IPTF Livno and Bihac districts'
commanders and top Moslem and Croat Federal officials had been
notified of the arrest.
According to Letica, an Una-Sana cantonal policeman, Sead
Kadiric, visited the Kulen-Vakuf police station, and told them
that they must leave Kulen Vakuf during that day, according to
an order of his superiors, or they would be apprehended.
The Herzeg-Bosna canton's interior ministry
representatives visited those Croat policemen on Saturday
morning in Kulen Vakuf, Letica said and added that during their
return from that town SFOR troops stopped them and did not
allow them to come back to Livno via Drvar. Therefore they had
to return to Livno via Donji Lapac, Croatia's town at the
border with Bosnia.
