According to the first reports, a group of police officers
from Pale entered the village of Tromedja and clashed with police
officers from Prnjavor. The police from Pale arrived in ten vehicles
and the local police stopped them as they were entering Prnjavor,
Ivanko said.
According to still unconfirmed reports, Pale police officers
arrested two local police members, whom they released after more
than an hour.
This morning, around 7.20, shooting was registered in the
village and a police officer from Prnjavor was wounded in his leg.
According to Ivanko, Pale police started the shooting. The
International Police Task Force (IPTF) and Stabilisation Force
(SFOR) members visited the site of the incident immediately.
SFOR spokesman Chris Riley said that the SFOR had sent
additional units to the area shortly after the incident.
