ZAGREB, 9 Oct (Hina) - The delegations of Croatia and Macedonia met for talks in Zagreb on Thursday. The talks focused on the implementation of a free trade agreement the two countries signed in May this year, a statement from the
Economy Ministry said.

for talks in Zagreb on Thursday. The talks focused on the
implementation of a free trade agreement the two countries signed in

The talks, held at the proposal of the Macedonian delegation,
included some open questions concerning trade with petroleum
products, medicines and products of iron and steel industry.
The two sides agreed that those and similar issues concerning
the implementation of the free trade agreement would be solved
jointly and that none of the sides would take any measures on its
own.
It was agreed that a meeting of business people would be held
in Zagreb next month under the auspices of the Economy Ministry.
The Macedonian side showed special interest in further
improvement of cooperation in the area of plants protection and
technical norms in trade.
The two sides expressed interest in signing an agreement which
would regulate legal and property relations between the two
countries.
The two delegations were led by Croatian Deputy Economy
Minister Jasna Boric and her Macedonian counterpart Blagoje
Petrusevski.
