The Serbs demanded from the SFOR to remove the checkpoint from
the bridge.
Some 250 civilians blocked the road near the village of
Rudanka with about hundred buses and trucks, setting afire one of
the buses, Joosten said.
They threw Molotov cocktails and stones at SFOR soldiers and
destroyed the checkpoint. SFOR soldiers had to withdraw, Joosten
said, adding that the situation was calm and that the road was open
for traffic.
