A Croatian delegation headed by Granic is visiting New York
this week to attend the 52nd session of the UN General Assembly.
Speaking about relations between Croatia and Slovenia, Kucan
said that they could not "soberly look at where we have arrived, and
we have not gone far in these six-seven years".
Kucan said that the solving of problems should begin with the
nuclear electric power plant in Krsko, and ownership issues between
the two countries.
"The rest are sensitive political issues whose solution
depends to a great extent on good will and friendly relations, and
these relations exist," he said.
He said that it should not take a long time to present
solutions to problems.
Granic also held talks with foreign ministers of Sri Lanka,
Turkey, France and Argentina.
