SARAJEVO, 18 Sept (Hina) - Officials in the Office of the High Representative and U.N. mission in Sarajevo on Thursday published the names of persons killed in Wednesday's U.N. helicopter crash in central Bosnia.

Simon Haselock, spokesman for the Office of the High
Representative, made known the names of the killed. These are:
Ambassador Gerd Wagner, Deputy High Representative; Leah Melnick,
assistant to the High Representative; Charles Morpeth, Foreign
Office representative in the U.N. in Bosnia-Herzegovina; Juergen
Schauf, Wagner's bodyguard; Thomas Reinhard, German diplomat; Dr
George Stiebler, a German in charge of IPTF development; Andrzej
Buler, a Polish national.
The names of other passengers - three Americans and two
Germans - have not been made known yet.
U.N. spokesman Alexander Ivanko stated that the U.S.
government has still not allowed the names of the killed American
nationals to be published.
All crash victims' bodies have been transported to a
hospital in Rajlovac for identification.
The last respects to the international officials are to be
paid at a commemorative meeting, to be held on Saturday in
Sarajevo.
A book of condolences has been opened in the Office of the
High Representative in Sarajevo.
