Minister Klaus Kinkel, offering his condolences on the deaths of Deputy High Representative Gerd Wagner and officials of the Office of the High Representative and International Police Task Force who were killed in yesterday's helicopter crash, a statement from the Defence Minister said Thursday.

Granic on Thursday sent a telegram on behalf of the Croatian
Government and his own behalf to the High Representative in
Bosnia, Carlos Westendorp, and German Foreign Minister Klaus
Kinkel, offering his condolences on the deaths of Deputy High
Representative Gerd Wagner and officials of the Office of the
High Representative and International Police Task Force who were
killed in yesterday's helicopter crash, a statement from the

"Ambassador Wagner and members of the peace mission in
Bosnia and Herzegovina died while performing their noble duty of
bringing peace closer to the long-suffering people of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
We will know how to value their achievements and we shall
always remember them," Granic said.
Granic also offered his condolences to the German Foreign
Minister Kinkel in Thursday's phone conversation.
