SARAJEVO, Sept 10 (Hina) - The OSCE Mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina on
Wednesday relayed the statement of the Mission's head Robert Frowick
in which he said that the OSCE did not stand behind documents
published recently in the Sarajevo "Dani" magazine as OSCE's report
on the situation in southwestern Herzegovina.
Ambassador Frowick stressed that the expression 'false' was
the only one appropriate to describe the text, adding that that was
in no case a document behind which the OSCE stood.
The OSCE Mission was examining legal questions concerning the
issue, Frowick said.
He condemned statements concerning statements made by
political officials from the Bosnian Federation, Croatia and the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party which had been published in
the DANI magazine and imputed to OSCE.
Frowick also warned that people had to consider the moment at
which the article had been published, and reiterated that the views
relayed by the article in no way coincided with the views of the
OSCE Mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
