INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED AGAINST BAJRAMOVIC, MIKOLA, SULJIC, HODAK

ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - The state attorney's office of the County of Zagreb on 5 September 1997 requested of the Investigation Department of the Zagreb County Court to start an investigation against Miro Bajramovic, Igor Mikola, Munib Suljic and Nebojsa Hodak, suspected of murder. Bajramovic, Mikola, Suljic and Hodak were arrested earlier this week at the request of the Zagreb County State Attorney's Office following Bajramovic's interview to Feral Tribune weekly, in which he said the four of them committed murders in the Pakracka Poljana region (south-east of Zagreb). Even though in his statement to the Zagreb police Bajramovic altered claims made in the interview by denying that he personally took part in the murders, the County attorney's office requested an investigation against the four persons mentioned, since results of an earlier investigation into events in Pakracka Poljana showed there existed founded suspicion that some crimes had been committed.
