BELGRADE, 23 Aug (Hina) - The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has asked the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to hand over five men who are suspected to be on the Yugoslav territory, including three
members of the former JNA, indicted for war crimes committed in Vukovar - Miroslav Radic, Mile Mrksic and Veselin Sjivancanin.
BELGRADE, 23 Aug (Hina) - The International Criminal Tribunal for
the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has asked the Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia to hand over five men who are suspected to be on the
Yugoslav territory, including three members of the former JNA,
indicted for war crimes committed in Vukovar - Miroslav Radic,
Mile Mrksic and Veselin Sjivancanin. #L#
Spokesman for the U.N. office in Belgrade Sussan Manuel
told reporters that the list also includes two men who are
currently living on the Yugoslav territory.
Those are Slobodan Miljkovic from Kragujevac, indicted by
the Tribunal on 21 July 1995 for war crimes committed in Bosanski
Samac and Dragomir Saponja, a Bosnian Serb indicted for war
crimes committed in Omarska and Keraterm detention camps. Saponja
was on the 'Yugoslav list' because he lived in Novi Sad at the
time the indictment was issued, Manuel explained.
