SARAJEVO, Aug 31 (Hina) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-

apprehension of the perpetrators. #L#
A statement from Izetbegovic's Office said Sunday that
Izetbegovic had forwarded a letter to the interior ministers of the
Bosnian Federation and Central Bosnian Canton in which he had
expressed his consternation over the killings.
"I request of you to undertake energetic measures so that the
perpetrator of this crime is found and brought to justice. If there
is any indication that the crime could be politically motivated, I
request of you to take additional safety measures so such cases are
never repeated. If in any case this is revenge against refugees-
returnees, then it is a crime against peace in Bosnia which our
public condemns and which has to be disabled by all means," the
letter said.
The Bosnian Federation Interior Ministry confirmed that Luka
Jezercic and his son Pero Jezercic had been killed with firearms.
The investigation of the scene was carried out by judges of
the Primary and High Court from Travnik, Central Bosnian Canton's
both Croat and Bosniac police officers, and police officers of the
Bosnian Federation Interior Ministry have joined the investigation.
"All available measures are being undertaken to uncover and
bring to justice the perpetrator of this serious crime," the
statement said.
