MOSTAR, Aug 7 (Hina) - Mostar Mayor Ivan Prskalo on Thursday received
the head of the Mostar office of the international high representative for
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Martin Garrod. The talks focused on the meeting
Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and the chairman of the BH Presidency,
Alija Izetbegovic, held in the Croatian port of Split yesterday.
Prskalo assessed yesterday's meeting as positive for Mostar as well,
pointing out it would "certainly contribute to the normalization of relations
between the two peoples". Tudjman and Izetbegovic's talks, he said, would
make his work as a mayor easier.
Prskalo and Garrod also talked about the overall situation in Mostar.
