SARAJEVO, Aug 8 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-man presidency,
reached agreement on the allocation of ambassadorship, establishment
of a permanent military commission and on the united
telecommunications system for the country. The agreement was
concluded after several-hour-long talks at which U.S. envoys Richard
Holbrooke and Robert Gelbard acted as intermediaries.
However, during the meeting which began at 10 p.m. Thursday
and ended on early Friday morning, the Bosnian Presidency failed to
agree on a final layout of the currency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Holbrooke is expected to disclose more details of agreements
at a news conference.
What has been already known is that there will be a single
telephone code for Bosnia-Herzegovina, whereas its two entities, the
Croat-Moslem federation and the Serb entity, will have sub-codes.
