ZAGREB, June 12 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic, on
Thursday received Roumanian Ambassador to Croatia, Vasil Leca, on a
farewell visit.
Leca said that after his six year-long term of diplomatic service
he was leaving Zagreb, but would remain a permanent Croatian friend
being glad that Croatia had become a strong and stable country in that
period.
According to an official statement, Granic said that ties between
Croatia and Roumania were very good with no open question. And, our good
relations confirmed that for cooperation between countries in this
region, institutional organisations or stipulations were not necessary,
but the good will and the mutual interest would be enough, he added.
Granic and Leca agreed that further strengthening of economic
cooperation would be useful, and the next week's meeting of economic
commissions would contribute to this aim, the statement said.
