SARAJEVO, 18 June (Hina) - The private U.S. non-profit-making organisation Quality Schools International will open the first international school on the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo. The school will be opened in
September. An agreement on the opening of the school was signed in Sarajevo on Wednesday by the Federation Education Minister Fahrudin Rizvanbegovic and U.S. Embassy charge d'affaires in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Beecroft.
SARAJEVO, 18 June (Hina) - The private U.S. non-profit-making
organisation Quality Schools International will open the first
international school on the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
The school will be opened in September. An agreement on the opening
of the school was signed in Sarajevo on Wednesday by the Federation
Education Minister Fahrudin Rizvanbegovic and U.S. Embassy charge
d'affaires in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Beecroft. #L#
At the beginning, the school will have 20 pupils and its work will
be supported by the State Department through its department for overseas
education. Classes will be attended both by foreign and Bosnian
citizens.
The school's curriculum will be based on English, mathematics,
cultural anthropology, science, literature, art, music, computer classes
and physical education. The pupils' age will be between 5 and 13.
Quality Schools International is currently managing 16 similar
institutions in East Europe and the Near East.
