BOSNIA'S COUNCIL OF MINISTERS DISCUSSES BORDER CROSSINGS

SARAJEVO, June 5 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Council of Ministers met in the Serb-held Sarajevo suburb of Lukavica on Thursday to discuss the opening of the remaining border crossings towards Croatia and the forthcoming negotiations with the London Club of creditors. Council co-chairman Boro Bosic told reporters after the meeting that the Foreign Ministry was instructed to begin negotiations with the Croatian government to establish the border crossing regime to ensure an unimpeded flow of passengers and goods. The border crossings in question are located in the Bosnian Serb entity. Another co-chairman, Haris Silajdzic, said that the work of the Council had come to a standstill because Bosic, the Serb representative on the Council, had refused to put on the agenda a bill on the Council of Ministers as earlier agreed. "I think that today's meeting was not successful and now we're waiting for the international community to make a move," Silajdzic said, explaining that he would demand arbitration from international organisations and the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
