CROATIAN DEFENCE AND NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL HOLDS SESSION

ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Council of Defence and National Security convened on Friday under the chairmanship of President Franjo Tudjman, the President's Office said in a statement. The Council discussed the way of providing care for victims of the Homeland War, disabled war veterans and families of the fallen defenders. As regards the functioning of public companies, the Council stressed the need for better coordination and government control of the operation of public companies, particularly with regard to the process of making decisions on strategic investments, the statement concluded.
