ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - The Croatian government held a closed-door
session on Thursday at which it passed an annex to the agreement
determining border crossings between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina,
which was signed in Sarajevo on March 14, 1996, the government public
relations office said in a statement.
Under the annex, international road border crossings will be opened
at Hrvatska Dubica - Bosanska Dubica, Stara Gradiska - Bosanska
Gradiska, Slavonski Brod - Bosanski Brod and Slavonski Samac - Bosanski
Samac.
The government drew up proposals for approval of the opening of
Swedish and Polish consulates in Split and a temporary consular office
of the Czech Republic in Zadar. The proposals will be forwarded to
President Franjo Tudjman for adoption.
The government sent proposals to the President for confirmation of
the election of Mr Miljenko Cvjetko and Mrs Dorica Nikolic as deputy
mayors of Zagreb and of Mr Miroslav Hreljica as Varazdin County prefect,
the statement concluded.
