TUDJMAN RECEIVES NUMEROUS LETTERS OF CONGRATULATIONS ON RE-ELECTIO N

N ZAGREB, June 18 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman continues to receive letters of congratulations on his new election as the President of the Republic of Croatia. Tudjman received letters of congratulations from European Government President Jacques Santer, UN's transitional administrator for eastern Slavonia Jacques Klein, Lithuanian President Algirdas Brazauskas, Catalonian Premier Jordi Bujol, the European Union's observer mission chief Per Winther, and former United States Ambassador to the Vatican Patrick Melady. The Croatian President also continues to receive letters of congratulations from Croatian citizens, culture and science employees, athletes, Croatian political and public figures, and Croats from Bosnia- Herzegovina.
