PRESIDENT TUDJMAN RECEIVES LETTERS OF CONGRATULATIONS

ZAGREB, 17 June (Hina) - The Croatian President Franjo Tudjman was congratulated Tuesday on his re-election as Croatia's president by numerous associations, societies and political parties. "We are convinced that you will continue to perform your duties to the benefit of the Croatian people and that great victories of the Homeland war will be replaced by victories in peace-time development of our dear and only Croatia, the one our sons and daughters dreamt about" said a letter sent by the Association of Parents of Killed Defenders. President Tudjman also received letters of congratulations from the Croatian cultural society 'Napredak' from Sarajevo, the Croatian Democratic Party of Rights (HKDS) and the Croatian Conservative Party (HKS). The President was also congratulated by the Gospic Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) municipal committee, by the President of Sarajevo Canton organisation of the Croatian Democratic Union from Sarajevo, Jozo Leutar and the Osijek County Association of Displaced People.
