SARAJEVO, June 9 (Hina) - Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama is
expected to visit Sarajevo in July, OSCE Bosnia mission spokesman David
Foley said in Sarajevo on Monday.
The visit will be organised by the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe, appreciating Dalai Lama's championship of peace
and tolerance.
We believe his arrival could encourage dialogue between the ethnic
communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Foley said.
Foley went on to say that 1.3 million voters had so far registered
for municipal elections scheduled for mid-September.
All citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina residing abroad should
registered for the ballot by a deadline of June 14.
About 2.4 million people took part in general elections last year.
