ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic on
Monday received Ingo-Eric M. Schmidt-Braula, director of the
International Book Office in Frankfurt and associate of the Council of
Europe, the ministry said in a statement.
Schmidt-Braula is in Croatia from 3rd to 11th June to examine the
possibility of starting a catalogue of books on sale in Croatia, which
is important to Croatia because it is included in the Council of Europe
project "Books and Archives."
Biskupic pledged support to Mr Schmidt-Braula's efforts, noting
that the designing of such a catalogue was in conformity with
conclusions from an international book colloquium which had been held in
Zagreb last December.
