sale of summer package tours in Croatia on the European market has started

Tour operators and members of travel agencies from Europe have
reported a considerable increase in interest and in the booking of Croatian
summer resorts, especially in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and
Slovakia.
The Croatian Tourism Association office in Germany receives about 250
calls a day. The largest German tour operators have booked 40,000
reservations by the end of February. It is expected that the data for March
will be much better.
Croatia is among the most wanted destinations in Austria and this
year's most wanted destination is Dalmatia.
The Czech tourists are showing the greatest interest and Croatia has a
surprisingly good booking - nine largest tour operators in Slovakia have
registered almost 10,000 reservations.
Almost 12,000 British and 400 French tourists have booked summer
holidays in Croatia.
According to the Croatian Association of Tourist Agencies, there is
great interest in Croatian nautical tourism on foreign markets.
Nautical capacities are already booked for May, June and September.
The booking in Germany has reached 70% of the overall results in the
last year.
The booking on the Italian and Slovene markets is better than the last
year's and good news also comes from France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
As of this year, guests from the United States will visit Croatia.
