Rights.+ According to the "Apel" amendment, Article 3 of the Declaration +would, in its amended form, read: "Everyone has the right to life, +freedom and personal safety until his end - a natural death".+ The association also proposes two new articles to the Declaration. +According to Article 31, everyone is entitled to have, after death, +a properly marked grave, of which family members must be informed. +Article 32 regulates that violent deaths with no proper trial must +be prosecuted everywhere and in every time, while perpetrators have +to be punished and families of the missing compensated.+ The "Apel" initiative has been supported

ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - A centre for the protection of human rights
of imprisoned and missing Croatian citizens and their family
members, "Apel", on Thursday presented a draft amendment to the
U.N. Universal Declaration on Human Rights.
According to the "Apel" amendment, Article 3 of the Declaration
would, in its amended form, read: "Everyone has the right to life,
freedom and personal safety until his end - a natural death".
The association also proposes two new articles to the Declaration.
According to Article 31, everyone is entitled to have, after death,

Article 32 regulates that violent deaths with no proper trial must
be prosecuted everywhere and in every time, while perpetrators have
to be punished and families of the missing compensated.
The "Apel" initiative has been supported by about 30 non-government
organisations in Croatia. Citizens will be able sign lists of
support for the initiative for another month.
The initiative received supported also from Parliament Vice
President Jadranka Kosor, who signed an "Apel" list today.
