OSIJEK, Oct 7 (Hina) - A delegation of the Council of Europe
Committee for Refugees on Wednesday discussed the two-way return at
the Regional Office for Displaced Persons and Refugees in Osijek.
The European delegation, who also met with representatives of the
Osijek-Baranja County and the town of Osijek, were particularly
interested in the work of the local housing commission and the
return of Serbs, who had voluntarily left the town during the war.
Housing problems of some hundred Serb refugees were solved in the
first half of this year and another 64 cases are being solved, said
Zdenko Simunovic, president of Osijek's Housing Commission.
