PRISTINA, Oct 3 (Hina) - A letter in which Serbian Deputy Minister
Ratko Makovic, the head of the Serbian negotiation crew calls on the
Albanians to negotiate, has been published in Pristina, the capital
of the Serbian province of Kosovo.
The leader of Kosovo negotiators Fehmi Agani said that the main
reasons for ending the talks between Pristina and Belgrade still
existed. Agani said that the conflicts on Kosovo had not stopped,
and that an average of 15 Albanians per day were being killed in
Kosovo from July 20 to this day, while large number of Albanians had
immigrated.
Agani referred to Markovic's call on the talks - as a manifestation
with the aim of lowering pressure by the international community
and avoiding almost sure NATO intervention.
Albanian sources reported on Saturday that the Serbian military had
been bombing villages bordering with Albania, near Djakovica since
the break of a dawn. Twenty six more bodies have been found in
Glogovac and Suva Reka municipalities.
