PRISTINA, Sept 15 (Hina) - A political representative of the Kosovo
Liberation Army (OVK) on Tuesday said the OVK was undergoing
reorganisation, despite constant attacks from Serbian forces.
The Belgrade regime cannot win the war against Kosovo Albanians,
Adem Demaqi said.
OVK soldiers are "playing cat and mouse" with Serbian forces.
"When the regime's forces enter a certain area, the OVK retreats,
and when the regime's forces retreat, the OVK returns back to its
positions", said Demaqi.
"This will last as long as one side tires out, and Albanians won't
tire because they want freedom", he added.
As long as the Belgrade regime fails to put an end to its offensives,
no Albanian-Serbian negotiations will take place, Demaqi said.
Commenting on the events in Albania, the OVK representative said
that Kosovo Albanians were not indifferent to what was happening
there.
He stressed however that the OVK was not taking part in the latest
crisis as it was not in the Kosovo Albanians' interest to either get
involved in or incite conflicts in Albania.
