SISAK, Sept 28 (Hina) - The Sisak Committee for the implementation
of the trust establishment programme, speedy return and
normalisation of life in war-ravaged areas, adopted its working
programme on Monday's session.
The most important task of the Sisak Committee is to create an
atmosphere of tolerance, safety and equality, that is, conditions
for normal life in areas in Sisak ravaged by war.
After the Committee session, the Sisak City Housing Commission for
the accommodation of refugees and displaced persons held its
constitutive session.
The Housing Commission has so far received about 60 requests by
refugees and displaced persons for solving their housing issues and
return of property. The commission is expediting its decision
process for about a dozen requests, the members said.
