MOSTAR, Sept 26 (Hina) - A group of Serb refugees attempted to
return to their home town of Mostar on Saturday.
They wished to return to the Rastane neighbourhood which has a Croat
majority.
The Croats, however, blocked the road leading to the neighbourhood
with several trucks and busses, as well as their private cars.
They stressed that the return of the Serbs was not announced nor
organised.
The group of Serbs then retreated to Mostar's southern
neighbourhood of Kovacine, awaiting the outcome of negotiations
between their representatives and local Croat officials.
The location of the negotiations is unknown.
Mostar's Mayor Ivan Prskalo on Saturday visited the location where
the road towards Rastane is blocked.
