MOSTAR, Sept 8 (Hina) - A multi-national special unit for
protecting public order and peace was presented on Tuesday in the
Stabilisation Force (SFOR) camp at Ortijes airport near Mostar,
southern Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The unit, which arrived recently to help out SFOR, includes 400
Italians, 115 Argentineans and 25 Romanians.
A group of Slovenes will join the unit in the next 30 days, said the
unit's liaison officer Mario Pasket.
The unit is to help SFOR in preventing public disorder, secure the
return of refugees and help in the establishment of new bodies of
authority following the September elections, Pasket said.
