ALBANIAN SOURCES REPORT NEW CLASHES IN KOSOVO

( Editorial: --> 1725 ) PRISTINA, Sept 20 (Hina) - Serbian forces on Sunday launched a new attack on two villages in the Klina municipality, near Drenica, the Kosovo Information Centre reported. An eye-witness told the Centre that Serbian forces have entered a settlement in the town of Srbica. So far there is no information on the consequences of these attacks. Albanian sources in Kosovo report that Serbian forces have entered several villages near Djakovica. The Centre has published the names of five civilians killed by Serbian forces in the village of Kacanole in the area of Bajgorska Salja, north of Mitrovica, during an offensive which lasted from September 15 to 18, and killed a total of 18 Albanians. Serbian forces have burned down 19 Albanian houses in Kacanole, the same source said adding that only about a dozen residents remained in the village. (hina) rml 201456 MET sep 98
