INFORMATION ON VICTIMS
( Editorial: --> 9657 )
PRISTINA, Sept 11 (Hina) - The Kosovo Committee for the Protection
of Human Rights and Freedoms has requested that international
pathologists and forensic experts carry out the identification of
civilians killed since the beginning of Kosovo conflicts, the
organisation's president Pajazit Nushi said on Friday.
This request especially refers to the identification of victims
from Klecka and Glodjane, for whom the Serbian side claims to have
been killed by the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Out of 879 Albanians killed since the beginning of the war in
Kosovo, only 21 were identified as Kosovo Liberation Army members.
Other victims are civilians of both sexes, from newly-born babies
to 90-year-old men, Nushi said.
He added that his centre also had lists with the names of 800 missing
Albanians.
