ZAGREB, Sept 7 (Hina) - The help of Croatian emigrants in the
process of returning Homeland war victims and reconstructing their
destroyed houses would be precious, Zdenka Farkas, the head of the
centre for the protection of human rights of imprisoned and missing
Croatian citizens "Apel", said Monday.
Farkas said this during her meeting with the Croatian Assistant
Immigration Minister Josip Juras, whom she presented with a white
brick, the symbol of peace and return.
The white brick is an attempt to remind the inert international
community of the suffering of defenders and civilian victims of the
Homeland war.
"Apel" will try and present a white brick to the UN Secretary-
General Kofi Annan as well, Farkas said.
Assistant Minister Juras promised "Apel" his support in raising
funds for the reconstruction of destroyed houses.
The Ministry will issue a bulletin and inform the Croatian diaspora
about the details of this action, Juras said.
