PRISTINA, Aug 28 (Hina) - Serbian police forces on Thursday broke a
major Kosovo Liberation Army (OVK) stronghold in Klecka, a village
in Malisevo Municipality 10km from the Pristina-Prizren road, the
pro-Yugoslav government Media Centre in Pristina reported on
Friday.
According to first reports, police found the location which
previously held the OVK headquarters in Klecka, alongside a
comprehensive documentation on OVK members and plans, as well as a
large quantity of weaponry.
The Media Centre also reported they found a spot where, according to
an arrested OVK member, Albanians allegedly shot civilians. An
investigation in the matter has been launched in Pristina.
The Media Centre did not report on the victims of the battles for
Klecka.
Albanian sources did not confirm these reports, but emphasised the
Serbian police opened cannon-fire on refugees and that there were
several victims among Albanian civilians.
