PULA, Aug 31 (Hina) - Thirteen Romanian and six Yugoslav citizens
were arrested this weekend while trying to illegally cross the
Croatian state border at two border crossings in Istria, the Istria
County police reported Monday.
The Romanian nationals were arrested near the border crossing of
Pozane, in the Buzet area.
They entered Croatia somewhere in Vukovar-Srijem County on 26
August.
The six Yugoslav citizens from Kosovo were caught last Saturday
while trying to cross the state border via the border crossing of
Kastel.
It was established that they had entered Croatia near Metkovic,
southern Croatia, on August 27.
The police will press criminal charges against the perpetrators.
