ALBRIGHT ARRIVES IN SARAJEVO

( Editorial: --> 6970 ) SARAJEVO, Aug 30 (Hina) - Following her visit to Tuzla and talks with Republika Srpska officials in Bijeljina, the US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright arrived in Sarajevo on Sunday evening. Mrs. Albright will visit the Franciscan Faculty of Theology in the Sarajevo suburb of Nedjarici, where she is to address seminarists, high church dignitaries and state officials. On Monday, the US Secretary of State will have separate talks with the President of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic, and Presidency member Kresimir Zubak. During the day, Mrs Albright will meet women who are candidates in the September elections. Mrs Albright has already visited Bosnia-Herzegovina three times as US Secretary of State. Before her appointment as US Secretary of State, Mrs. Albright visited Bosnia in 1994 in her capacity as US Ambassador to the United Nations, when she laid a foundation stone for the US Embassy building in Sarajevo.
