LJUBLJANA, Aug 17 (Hina) - Ljubljana has confirmed that next week's
meeting of the Croatian and Slovene Foreign Ministers will discuss
recent disputes over the Krsko nuclear power plant and the
unilateral awarding of Slovene house numbers to Croatian hamlets
south of the Dragonja river.
Slovene Foreign Ministry state secretary Franco Juri told Slovene
Radio on Monday that the place for the August 25 meeting of
Croatia's Mate Granic and Slovenia's Boris Frlec had not yet been
determined, but that both Zagreb and Ljubljana were still
discussing it.
Juri said his ministry was preparing special material for the
announced meeting on the issue of the four hamlets on the Croatian
side of the Dragonja.
He said this area was "the subject of negotiations by the mixed
diplomatic commission for borders", and that it was not known on
whose territory they were located.
Juri claimed that the allocation of Slovene house numbers by the
Slovene Geodetic Administration was carried out individually, on
the wishes of those who had submitted requests.
