PRISTINA, Aug 30 (Hina) - Serbian authorities and representatives
of Kosovo Albanians have been making mutual accusations for crimes
committed in the south Yugoslav province of Kosovo.
Serbian police on Saturday showed reporters the remains of burned
human bodies found in Klecka, a village in Malisevo Municipality
30km south of Kosovo capital Pristina.
According to Serbian authorities, the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVK)
killed and then burned 22 Serbs in that village in July.
OVK political representative Bardhyl Mahmuti categorically denied
the allegations on the shooting of Serbian civilians made by
Serbian authorities.
OVK has not killed any civilian to date, Mahmuti emphasised.
"The terror of the Serbian military and police is accompanied by a
propaganda terror, which is trying to diminish the crimes committed
against the civilian Albanian population, the massacres,
destruction and barbarism, and to put the blame on the OVK", said
Mahmuti.
"The latest Serbian regime fabrication is the alleged killing of
Serbian civilians in the village of Klecka and the alleged
existence of a list of abducted Serbs", he concluded.
